The Best Bar in Town
The Venice is absolutely the most interesting place I have ever been. The decor is amazing, the whole place is a work of art. If you haven't been here you really need to go!!

Ambiance Great by Donna K. at InsiderPages
LOVE the decor and atmosphere, especially sitting outside in late spring. Love this place, you just have to go for the ambiance. Food is so-so. Its worth a visit.

Must Visit For Anyone in St. Louis
Must Visit For Anyone in St. Louis: I was surprised to see the last review of the Venice Cafe, because I've never had an experience like that. It's not fine dining, but the staff and atmosphere is unlike anyplace else in the world. If you like querkie, off-beat, and unusual check it out. What do I like most? Every visit is a new experience.

Very cool dive
Very cool dive: Loved the club feeling without the club music. Ecletic patrons and atmosphere. Intimate, but exhibitionism encouraged. I love taking people there to see their reaction.

A must to experience!
Though it's small and crowded, the Venice is a must to experience. If you haven't got enough friends, just visit the Venice and step on the toes of some new friends. Beautiful outdoor garden where the music of the bands can waft out the open door.
And ya gotta love the "World's Most Dangerous Poet."
