DON'T waste your time or money. Over priced. Service horrible. Waited an hour for our food that came our cold and tasteless!! The last straw was the server ALTERED my credit card slip to add an additional tip, even though I wrote on my slip, "Tip left on the table". I guess after all that he thought he deserved a 36% tip. Un-freeking believable.

I've rarely been to St Louis, and even when I have it was never to venture out and about downtown. I had several friends recommend Rooster after I asked for some good restaurants. I walked in about 10am on a Sunday. It was fairly busy, but not insane, and it seemed like they were staffed well. The lady at the door immediately sat my by the window in the front. A server came by and handed me a menu and took my drink order. So far so good right? After that I never saw the hostess again. The waiter never returned to my table with the Orange Juice. After 15 minutes I finally saw him again. He looked over and mouthed "just a moment". I saw him check on other tables who already had their food. He walked by me 3 times without even making eye contact. Finally I did the dreaded "customer motioning to the server to come to the table" move. Instead he went behind the bar and began helping out the bartender. 10 more minutes of watching him help customers there weren't ...
