it is a st.louis institution. a family friendly neighborhood bar and grill. i love the greek salad and the fried zucchini sticks. it can get a little busy on friday and saturday nights, but they still manage to get you in.

A fried suggested this place, and I??????ve been hooked since. They have great gyros & amazing Greek salads. The appetizers are great, especially the fried zucchini sticks & homemade hummus. Last time I visited, I ordered a filet minion medium rare and it was cooked perfectly. It was pure heaven! The staff is great and the bartenders are generous. Every time I??????ve sat at the bar, I??????ve made new friends. Only two complaints: there is only street parking so during busy times, a spot can be hard to find & if you??????re going during dinner time on the weekends, expect a crowd. You can make reservations, though.

I started ging to Michael's when I moved to St. Louis in 1989. We would go there on Sunday's after softball, and from the very first bite of the Michael's Burger I was hooked. Their wings trounce Culpepper's IMO, and the gyro's are stuffed with tender juicy meat. I've never had a bad meal and am constantly introducing new people to the Best Burger in town. Great value and great flavors.

I was told that that ribeye sandwich was the best and it is true! Not a bad price for such a great "sandwich". The portions are great, service friendly and we are going back. I highly recommend Michael's. St. louis has so many great places to eat and this is towards the top of the list.

The food was delicious, inexpensive, and authentic - fantastic in every way! Our waitress was very nice and maintained her composure and friendly, professional attitude even when tending to the needs of the grumpy, fussy old woman in the booth next to us. The tzatziki and pita were yummy as were the wings and Michael's salad! Four thumbs up from the happy dining couple - we'll be back!
