By all appearances, this little restaurant has the character necessary to lure people to its warm interior. Unfortunate for those who make that leap, sore disappointment lies ahead. This "pan-latin" restaurant serves recognizable dishes from mostly Mexico, but also Argentina and Columbia as well as Spain. The servers are prompt, but sorely out-of-place with the theme. Think tartan plaid shirts and cargo shorts. They say you can judge a Mexican restaurant by the chips and salsa. If that's the case, the poor pico de gallo offering was a giant red flag. We ordered some of the classics. The fish tacos were completely uninspired. Dry, unseasoned white fish sits on bought-in tortillas with some slightly wilted Spring Mix lettuce and somehow an avocado made its way to one of three tacos. The dish is served along with Mexican style rice (yellow, long-grain rice with peas) which was overcooked and obviously had sat in a steam table for a week then plated in a little fried tortilla ...
