Real Mexican Food, the way it should be
Nothing like a cold Margarita, and warm tortillas to really make the perfect night. Maya Cafe has been around a while and the food seems to just get better. Keep it up Maya Cafe staff. ...

There are many reasons to go to Maya. 1. Service- I organized a large group gathering and the staff at Maya called me the day of to see if my number had changed for our reservation- to make sure they had enough space set up for us. I have dealt with a lot of restaurants and have NEVER been given this kind of consideration before. 2. Special orders- MY husband and I take our children out a lot. Maya doesn't have the standard chicken fingers and corn-dog menu for kids (one reason we like it) and they are always happy to accommodate our three year old and have made things not on the menu just for her. 3. Vegetarian- Most places don't offer much in this area- Maya has one of the MOST SCRUMPTIOUS things I've ever eaten called the Cayhota(sp?) Relleno. Its a Squash dish with artichokes. I love to order htings I don't make regularly at home and this one is YUM! 4. I don't care what anyone/ any poll says- I am a Bloody Mary drinker and Maya has the BEST hands down.‎

Had been told it was OK. Well OOOOOOKKKKKK let me be more specific: the best Margarita(s) I ever had, food was unbelievable, great service and the chef/new owner Kyle came out from the kitchen twice and talked at our table. Highly recommended!!!!‎

The Mayans Are Rolling In Their Temples.‎
By all appearances, this little restaurant has the character necessary to lure people to its warm interior. Unfortunate for those who make that leap, sore disappointment lies ahead. This "pan-latin" restaurant serves recognizable dishes from mostly Mexico, but also Argentina and Columbia as well as Spain. The servers are prompt, but sorely out-of-place with the theme. Think tartan plaid shirts and cargo shorts. They say you can judge a Mexican restaurant by the chips and salsa. If that's the case, the poor pico de gallo offering was a giant red flag. We ordered some of the classics. The fish tacos were completely uninspired. Dry, unseasoned white fish sits on bought-in tortillas with some slightly wilted Spring Mix lettuce and somehow an avocado made its way to one of three tacos. The dish is served along with Mexican style rice (yellow, long-grain rice with peas) which was overcooked and obviously had sat in a steam table for a week then plated in a little fried tortilla ...
