Roland Page is a HACK!
Mr Page is nothing more than a hack that tattoos kids without parental consent. He is a former cop that still thinks he is above the LAW!!! I am taking him to court to shut him and his kind down... I know there are other parents out there that feel as if they cannot do anything now that their child has been tattooed, let me tell you there is.. take the time to file the police report, followed up with a report to the dept of professional registration and the Atty General. Don't let him get away with it...! The bargain price of his tattoos will cost THOUSANDS to get removed..
Price Range: $1 - $5

the best ever
this place has the most bussiness i ever known soo all the haters just keep hating you motivate them to keep they bussiness running.

And i dont know where you get the idea that black pearl is nasty. because to me they have the best runned bussiness ever. i have three tattoos and Roland did every last one of them. i think people just like to bring others down because they have nothing else better to do. but by one person saying something like that doesn't stop there bussiness.....if that was the cases you should have went to urban expressions and got your eyebrows pierce

Dirty scary shop
I went here to get my eyebrow pierced. There were tons of people just wandering around, I think many people live in this building. It was hard to tell who worked there. I look very young, and instead of asking for actual ID, they just asked if I had any tattoos. Showing them my tattoos on my legs was proof enough for them. (I look about 15. sketchy sketchy!) There was no paperwork to fill out, no release, nothing. They didn't even know my name. When I walked in, the girl asked what I was there for, and I said eyebrow piercing. She told me it would be $25. I gave her my money, and she walked away, giving me no information. After standing there for about 15 minutes, confused, someone finally called me into the back. I was about ready to bolt, but she DID put on new, clean gloves and the needle was from a sealed package. She did not, however, draw the dots on my eye so I could see where it was going to go, like she should have. There was also no hardware choice - usually you should get to pick the color or something! The other girl who was supposed to be working the front was wandering around on her cell phone talking about how she wanted to f**k this guy, and she hoped his girl friend would get too wasted to notice... it was really classy (not).

Since a piercing can come out and isn't permanent, I decided to risk it. It looks okay, but definitely could have been way better. There is no way in HELL I would get a tattoo here.

Also, do you notice all the reviews mention roland by name? I think he is writing those himself.

More Happy Customers Than Haters
For all those saying its a dirty shop and all that stuff, why would you stay and get a tat there after thinking its dirty? So any flaw is your own fault. The shop used to be a hair salon, but they have turned it around nicely. I have gotten 7 of my 13 tattoos from them, and I ONLY let Roland touch me, I can't speak for any other artist there. And I absolutely love Tracey(his wife). They are very sanitary, at least Roland and Tracey are, as I said I can't speak for anyone else. Roland has done wonderful work on all my tats, and is such a sweetheart and pleasure to work with. Stop hating, cuz if you had any ill feelings when you walked in you should have walked your self right back out the door. But Roland you have no reason to worry, there are more pleased people than there are haters!

Very good work
For the person that said that it was dirty and in the back of a hair salon. Yes the place used to be a hair salon, but if you have been in there sometime within the last few months they are remodeling it. There can be a wait, but it is work the wait. The only reason they don't charge the same prices and the "other guys" is because they aren't over priced. People are so used to paying for what they want. If someone has sent you to a tattoo shop are you really going to question the abilities of an artist or are you going to pay whatever they tell you. Everyone that was there was really nice to both me and my husband. We both got tattooes before going to Iraq. I have a Koi that covers most of my right upper arm. I flew out the next day. It looks great. I don't even need to go back for touch ups. Before you decied where you want to go, don't let one persons opinion stop you from going to see Rolland or his wife (she is the one that does the piercings) I will be going back after I leave Iraq,
